Pineapple House in Duror is centrally located and an ideal spot as a base for a few days to visit the delights of Scotland's West Coast.

- a mountain gondola trip in the Nevis Range or climb UK's highest mountain Ben Nevis
- a day trip via the Corran ferry to explore the empty hills & beaches of Ardgour & Moidart
- visit Glenfinnan to see the viaduct filmed in Harry Potter and take an eagle watch cruise
- a day trip seabird & wildlife cruise visiting scenic islands with puffins, seals and other wildlife
- photograph the sunset at beautiful Cuil Bay round the corner from Pineapple House
- cycle in the forests of Appin and alongside the sea lochs of Lochaber
- day trips to castles, visits to distilleries, trips to see gardens and a Seal Sanctuary
- enjoy eating Aberdeen Angus beef, Argyll lamb and fresh seafood in romantic settings
